Rest in peace actor Richard Hatch, who was a heartthrob to a generation of TV fans – most famously playing Captain Apollo in the blockbuster science fiction series Battlestar Galactica.
The star, who was 71, died of pancreatic cancer after being admitted to a hospice in LA.
He was famous for his roles in All My Children, and The Streets of San Francisco, before landing the role in the hit science fiction series.
He enjoyed a comeback recently as the villainous Tom Zarek in the reimagined version of the space show that made him a major star.
Very sad!
