The singer, 31, was appearing on The Daily Edition when the hosts brought up Paulini Curuenavuli and Kate DeAurago’s recent legal troubles.

DeAurago is facing up to 15 years in jail on drug and weapon charges, after allegedly being found in possession of a ‘trafficable quantity of the drug methamphetamine [ice], a large knife, and a tomahawk.’

She was also allegedly driving under the influence of drugs at the time.

Meanwhile, Curuenavuli – who is currently starring in the hit musical The Bodyguard – pleaded guilty earlier this month to bribing an RMS employee with $850 for a fake license, which allowed her to drive illegally on NSW roads for a year, during which time she racked up 11 driving offences.

‘I ran into Paulini actually in Melbourne, a couple of weeks ago, but I haven’t spoken to Kate, in like, in maybe eight years since I kind of left,’ Coulter told the hosts.

‘It’s so sad seeing everything that is kind of going on with them and I think people forget that are in the public eye, they have struggles too,’ she continued.

The Young Divas pop group, originally made up of former Australian Idol stars Curuenavuli, DeAraugo, Emily Williams, who was later replaced by Jessica Mauboy and Coulter, was formed in 2005 and broke-up three years later.

Kate has also made a public statement to her fans, and according to the Daily Mail, DeAraugo’s  barrister revealed she would plead guilty to the serious charges.
