The Bachelor: Richie's tears over shock dumping

She may have won Richie Strahan’s heart in the grand final, but it appears Alex Nation may not have been as unlucky in love as she made out.

Only recently learning the casting for The Bachelor opened in September last year, her ex-boyfriend Tom Barbour has been left questioning the timing of their break-up and is devastated to think he may been ditched for the show.

Still blissfully in love in the weeks leading up to the application process, Tom – who is in a wheelchair – has confided in close friends that he was never really sure why Alex suddenly ended their long-term relationship, and now feels the whole thing is too much of a coincidence.
