Lisa Oldfield and her husband David are at the centre of attention again after David has revealed he and his wife of 17 years have not been intimate in over a year.
In fact, David has revealed he can even remember the exact night it happened.
‘The 18th of January 2016 at about 7pm,’ David revealed to the Sunday Telegraph, ‘We have in the past year made plans to do it, and then one thing leads to another and something goes wrong and it doesn’t happen.’
David also reiterated that although it’s the last time they slept together with other, it may not necessarily be the last time they’d slept with anyone.
‘We’re not 20 years old and like rabbits,’ David said, in a bid to justify the 14-month hiatus.
David also revealed it’s been 18 months since the couple slept in the same bed.
This revelation comes after the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Sydney aired over the weekend where Lisa revealed the couples marriage was well and truly on the rocks. Prior to the show Lisa admitted to New Idea that she and David are in counselling and that doing the show highlighted all their marital issues.
‘I feel like I’m a failure as a mother and a wife,’ sighed Lisa. ‘There doesn’t feel like there’s any love or support there, and I feel very lonely. I love where we’re living, I love my children, I love all my animals, I love my beautiful home… I just hate the mongrel that I’m living with.’
