They aren’t even on air yet but The Real Housewives of Sydney are already causing a stir!
Airing in late February, the hotly anticipated new show is sure to ruffle feathers especially if this latest bit of information is anything to go by.
‘One of the ladies tells about her way of teaching her kids about the class system by taking their kids to the economy seats on a plane and saying: ‘This is what poor people look like,’ a producer of the show revealed to the Daily Telegraph.
The well-placed source also admitted the drama between the housewives started as soon as the cameras started rolling.
‘The fighting kicked off from the go and things got catty,’ the insider claimed. ‘Nothing was off the table, they go at each other for everything from cheating – accusations to criticizing parenting choices.’
This week, ads have started airing on Foxtel to introduce the new housewives and promote the show.
One housewife, Lisa Oldfield, the wife of ex-One Nation politician, David Oldfield was introduced as a ‘Politician’s wife’. Lisa, furious over this label, took to social media to blast Foxtel.
‘Can you believe after an enormously successful corporate career Foxtel have labeled me as a #politicianswife? Never mind that my husband left #politics 10 years ago! I think I just became a #feminist at 41 #firstworldproblems #rhosydney #rhos #pissedoff.’
When a few of her followers reacted to her post, Lisa fired back.
‘I sold my first company for $43M at 29. In context, every other cast member had their achievements lauded in their title, yet I’m relegated to wife status and a career my husband had a decade ago?’
The Real Housewives of Sydney will air on Arena on 26th February, 2017.
