“I just needed to change my routine or look at things differently,” the mother-of-two reasoned.

“My own instinct that told me there had to be a better quality way of life for myself, my children, my husband and for all of us as a unit.”

Breaking the news in an emotional segment live on-air, Steve said: “Monday to Friday, for the past 12 years, I haven’t been able to wake up once with my wife, and haven’t been able to get the kids to daycare.”

But as Rose explained, this wasn’t the only thing contributing to the couple’s stress.

The fellow media personality confessed that they wanted a more “organic environment” for their children, and after their four-year-old daughter became the victim relentless bullying, they decided to bite the bullet.

“Running away to another country was never going to be a quick fix for any of these things, nor our own personal faults and failures,” she said.

“But we happened to know of a particular country where the things that matter in life are still held paramount.”

But while she admits it can be a little “isolating” at times, the pair don’t regret the move.

“The greatest danger my kids face now are coconuts falling on their heads,” she wrote.

“My husband is seeing the old me that he first fell in love with.”

“I’ve got chooks, a veggie garden, a hammock and my sanity back,” she added.
