Rebecca Gibney has farewelled her family’s beloved dog in a touching Instagram post.
The 51-year-old’s four-legged second child Cookie sadly passed away after 16 years of ‘unconditional love and loyalty’.
‘Broken hearted as we say a sudden farewell to a much loved member of our family,’ she captioned a picture of the adorable canine.
‘Thank you for your unconditional love and loyalty. And thank you to Poppy for being there when we could not. You are finally free. RIP beautiful friend.’
Rebecca along with her husband Richard Bell and their son Zac are currently on holiday in New Zealand so they were unable to say goodbye in person.
