The Real Housewives of Melbourne is officially back, and fans have finally been given an answer to one of the season’s most pressing questions – how Janet Roach got her black eye.
Speaking to Daily Mail, the stars of the hit series confirmed that Janet, 58, wasn’t involved in a ‘punch-on’ like previously believed, but rather that she simply injured herself by falling over.
When quizzed about what had happened, fellow cast-mate Lydia Schiavello said: ‘She fell, and that was really awful.’
Gina Liano added, ‘I think Janet falling was pretty scandalous. Janet having her injury.’
Janet interjected, ‘Oh, that was just one minute!’
‘Oh it was pretty scandalous though,’ Gina quipped back.
