A friend of murdered beauty queen JonBenet’s family has come forward saying she agrees with theory put forward by CBS’s The Case of JonBenet Ramsey that her bother Burke Ramsay killed her.
Judith Phillips, 64, told The Sun she had witnessed glimpses of Burke’s temper in the past. ‘I agree with the theory Burke killed JonBenet but I don’t think he meant to do it,’ she said.
The photographer described the siblings as having different personalities.
‘People always think of JonBenét in the pageant costumes but she was a tomboy who loved jumping in piles of leaves or getting muddy,’ she said.
‘Burke was quiet, reserved and very into computer technology. I had seen him have emotional outbursts.’
Judith went on to explain Burke could have been jealous having to share his mother Patsy attention with his sister.
Recognising the term ‘and hence’, which was used in the ransom note, from a family Christmas card she received from the Ramsays, Phillips said: ‘I think Patsy did everything in her power to protect her living child. I think she wrote the ransom note whilst John staged the scene in the basement.’
Burke denies the claims and his lawyer confirmed he will sue CBS for their recent docuseries.
