‘Before she has left the house, we have filled her up with good food and she understands that it is a treat,’ the star said of her daughter Violet on The Morning Show.

The child, who was raised on a sugar-free diet, is now in uncharted territory as more of her little friends invite her over for parties.

‘Those first couple of years are quite easy because they do not go to many birthday parties. I love that,’ she said.

‘I feel it is my responsibility as a mother to try and control it as much as possible, sit at the beautiful foundation at home with the understanding of wholesome, real ingredients and now that she is going to more birthday parties, it does start to get a bit tricky.

‘There’s hot chips and nuggets, and sweets and lollies on the table. I do make sure, before she has left the house that we have filled her up with good food and she understands that it is a treat.
