The popular pair beat young parents Claire and Hagan to the title in a fierce final fight.

The 24-year-old Dalby duo were awarded 17/20 by judges Joe Snell and Wendy Moore for their final challenge – a spa and pergola at Claire and Hagan’s Mornington Peninsular home.

While Claire and Hagan beat the boys in the judges’ scoring, the brother proved too popular, taking out the winning share of the home vote.

‘I told myself I wasn’t going to get too emotional but I don’t think it’s going to happen,’ Luke said sobbing.

‘It has been the funnest, craziest most rewarding thing we’ve ever done in our lives,’ Cody told New Idea.

One of the most popular teams – the lads say they’ve loved meeting fans out and about.

‘We really love it,’ Luke said.

‘It’s really overwhelming but it really makes our day when people come and say hi. It’s nice to be able to make someone else’s day by taking a photo with them or having a yarn, it’s just a great feeling!’
