Priscilla Presley may have put her life in peril after receiving “miracle anti-wrinkle serum” injections that turned out to be car parts lubricant banned by the Food and Drug Administration, American magazine Globe has sensationally reported today.
The 71-year-old, once considered a great beauty, is looking skeletal with scarring around her unnaturally puckered mouth and hollowed cheeks, allegedly the result of work done by unlicensed “doctor” Daniel Serrano aka “Dr. Jiffy Lube.”
“I’ve seen patients who’ve been nearly killed by these kinds of injections,” New York internist Dr. Stuart Fisher tells Globe. “You can become septic and die!”
Plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Fleming adds that Priscilla, Elvis’ ex-wife and mom of Lisa Marie Presley, could be “permanently damaged” by the filler because “you can never remove it all.”
Dr. Tony Youn, a top plastic surgeon based in Michigan, says the star appears to have suffered other unpleasant side effects such as inflammation, scarring and skin bumps.
“These would cause her face to move abnormally and look stiff and unnatural,” Dr. Youn – who has not treated Priscilla himself – tells Globe, adding that “too much Botox can cause the muscles of the face to move too little.”
“She didn’t realise it but she was playing Russian roulette with her life,” a source tells Globe.
