They’re usually busy with charity work and royal commitments, but Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary are currently taking a well-earned break on holiday with their four young children.
The royals have been hitting the slopes in Switzerland, skiing the alps and having some good old-fashioned family fun.
Taking to Instagram, the Danish royals shared a series of sweet snaps from their holiday with the smiles on the kids’ faces saying it all.
“A moment in the Swiss Alps with D.K.H. The Crown Prince, Prince Christian and Crown Princess’s nephew, Alexander Stephens,” they wrote in Danish.
Another picture showed the couple’s twins Vincent and Josephine rugged up against the cold as they practiced their moves.
“The twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine on skis,” the caption on the photo read.
The most recent picture shows Mary and he daughter Isabella smiling as they were carted up the mountain on a chair lift before skiing back down to the bottom again.
“D.K.H. The Crown Princess and Princess Isabella on the way to lift up the mountain in Switzerland,” the family wrote.
It looks like they’re having a lovely time away together, with Mary and Frederik no doubt enjoying every minute before they head back to their official duties.
