Ed Sheeran has a nasty gash under his eye after a run in with Princess Beatrice.
In an attempt to knight James Blunt at a party at Prince Andrew’s home, Beatrice swung a sword behind her, not realising Sheeran was standing there, The Sun reports.
The royal reportedly joked with Blunt, 42, who said he would love to become a Sir, telling him to ‘arise Sir James’.
Beatrice is said to have misjudged the weight of the sword, slicing Sheeran’s face.
The singer was rushed to hospital but later returned the party the cut was stitched up.
