Princess Beatrice has lashed out at the Duchess of Cambridge in a shock new attack driven by jealousy, anger and bitterness.
Furious that she’s been cast aside and refused an official royal role, Bea has taken aim at the duchess over her hard-luck story – outraged that while Kate has her choice of designer outfits, an army of bodyguards and the deep affection of the Queen, she has been ‘cast aside like a dish cloth’.
The stark differences in the young royals’ lives were more apparent than ever recently, when Bea was spotted shopping at a local supermarket – as New Idea’s exclusive photos in this week’s magazine show.
While Kate, 35, enjoys five-star meals prepared by expert palace chefs and served by private maids each night, the 28-year-old Princess of York is forced to trawl through local supermarkets.
And while Kate has free rein over the crown jewels and the Windsor family fortune, Bea was embarrassingly caught out at the supermarket ATM – struggling to withdraw money from the machine, with onlookers revealing ‘she appeared to have insufficient funds in her account’.
Palace aides say the whole embarrassing encounter left Bea red-faced – and it seems poor Kate copped the brunt of her wrath.
