Carrie Bickmore is set to welcome her third child in a matter of weeks, but on Wednesday she admitted she has some concerns about the impact a newborn baby might have on her family.
Appearing on her Hit Network radio show Carrie and Tommy, the 37-year-old broke down in tears as she spoke about the impact a new baby might have on her children, Olli, 11 and Evie, three.
Carrie said on air, “I’m very excited about my expanding family,”
“Ollie thinks year a boy and Evie thinks we’re having a girl so one of them is going to be very disappointed and one very excited.”
While talking about the excitement over her expanding family, The Project host started to tear up,
“They [Ollie and Evie] are so cute together,” Carrie said.
“They’re a little team. He [Ollie] never thought he was going to get a baby brother or sister and then he got a little sister and they’re seven years apart and they’re joined at the hip,” she said.
Carrie admits she thinks that their close relationship may change once a third baby arrives, “Despite the seven-year gap they are so close. I am laying in bed at 6.30pm (gotta love maternity leave!) thinking about how their relationship might change a little when number three arrives.”
Carrie finished off with an emotional wish, “Hope they stay super close.”
