It’s the news Beyoncé fans did not want to hear. The mega star will no longer be performing at Coachella 2017.
The music festival has confirmed the news on their official Facebook page.
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” a message posted on Coachella’s Facebook page read.
“However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
After Beyoncé announced that she was expecting twins with husband Jay Z, many expected that she would have to cancel her performances at the festival.
It was initially announced in early January last year that she would headline the major music event. There has been no word on who will perform in place of the singer.
A statement on behalf of Beyoncé is yet to be released.
