No bride wants to be upstaged at her own wedding – including Pippa Middleton.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s soon-to-be-married sister has reportedly banned model Vogue Williams from the nuptials, even thought she’s dating the groom’s brother Spencer Matthews.
The former wife of Brian McFadden is said to have agreed not to attend the ceremony between Pippa and millionaire hedge fund boss James Matthews, The Sun reports.
‘Pippa’s view is that Vogue’s relationship with Spencer is still very new. It wouldn’t be appropriate for her to be there after just a few months of dating,’ an insider told the publication.
‘But some people in the circle are pretty shocked because this is her future brother-in-law who’s going to end up attending on his own. It’s certainly raised eyebrows.’
Pippa is said to be scared Vogue will upstage her on the big day.
It is believed Pippa has stated a ‘no ring, no bring’ rule to the upcoming reception as sources state that Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle, hasn’t been invited either.
‘It’s clear Pippa doesn’t want to be outshone by any TV babes on her big day,’ the source added.
Pippa famously upstaged sister Kate by wearing a now infamous bum-skimming dress to her royal wedding.
