Pop icon Pink has thrown herself into the task of helping Lisa Marie Presley get her life back on track – and back into music, as a way of helping her deal with her recovery from addiction.
The Just Give Me A Reason singer has been lending a hand to Elvis’ only daughter as she recovers from a struggle with prescription medicine, and undergoes physical therapy. And insiders say she’s taking her friend’s battle very hard – absorbing her personal torment as she attempts to help her correct her life.
A source told website RadarOnline: “Lisa Marie has also gotten support from friends like Pink, who’s encouraged her to get back into singing and songwriting to deal with her demons.
“She finally realised that she was killing herself [and is now] seeing a physical therapist. Things are finally looking up for her!”
While recovering, Lisa is also locked in a bitter and protracted divorce from her third husband Michael Lockwood and a custody battle over their eight-year-old twins, Harper and Finley.
The source added: “Everyone feels Lisa Marie’s turned a corner. Now we’ll see whether she can stay on the straight and narrow.”
