Well wishes are flooding in for pop star Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, after the couple finally confirmed, via a gorgeous Instagram post, the long-awaited news that they are having their second child.
‘Surprise!’ Pink captioned the image, shared early this morning with her 960,000 followers.
The ‘Just Like Fire’ singer kept her happy news a closely guarded secret until now, showing off her large baby bump as her first child, five-year-old daughter Willow, snuggles in close to her unborn baby brother or sister.
It’s believed she is more than seven months’ pregnant.
It’s been rumored that Pink and Carey were struggling to conceive, and the pair confirmed they would ‘absolutely’ consider adopting as a way to add a much-wanted second child to their family.
‘I feel like I have two kids right now,’ she said with a laugh earlier this year, referring to Willow and her motocross star hubby. ‘I would like a third.’
Pink, 37, adds that she has always wanted her daughter to grow up with a sibling.
‘My brother is everything to me. So I would like her to have family beyond her Papa and me,’ Pink revealed when Willow was two. ‘For that reason, I mostly want another one for her to have a lifelong friend.’
