TV’s hottest couple got married over the weekend and Peter Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys haven’t been able to hide their excitement about getting hitched.
A day after tying the knot, Peter shared a picture of him and his new bride, Sylvia having a dance on their wedding night.
‘My beautiful wife,’ Peter captioned the gorgeous snap.
Peter and Sylvia were married at the exclusive Ooralba property in NSW’s Kangaroo Valley on Saturday in front of 160 guests, including many Channel Nine personalities and since then social media has been flooded with loved up images of the couple celebrating with their guests.
Peter’s brother and Today show host, Karl Stefanovic was in attendance as best man, as well as Today’s Lisa Wilkinson, Richard Wilkins and former Neighbours star Holly Candy (nee Valance) – who is said to be good friends with the bride and groom.
Karl’s best man speech was said to include comments on the bride’s ‘great behind’ as well as 60 Minutes journalist Tara Brown’s child abduction bungle, which saw her spend two weeks in a Lebanese jail.
‘Someday you will find him/in a Beirut jail like Tara/He’s more like Ray Martin/He’s better than Ray Martin,’ in reference to Peter following a different path as a 60 Minutes host.
