Bachelor in Paradise has taken a disturbing turn with recent episodes focusing on Ivan Krslovic’s “scary” and “possessive” behaviour toward the object of his obsession, Tenille Favios.
And on Thursday, Bachelor host Osher Gunsberg shouted louder than anyone on social media by slamming the controlling 29-year-old on Twitter, saying plainly: “Listen Ivan. Respect what SHE wants, mate.”
Osher – and an army of BIP viewers – blasted Ivan’s petulant treatment of Tenille who repeatedly tried to tell him to “pull back the reigns” on their relationship.
Despite constant admonishing from the brunette beauty, Ivan took hold of her hand and leaned in for a kiss.
“What did I just say?” an incredulous Tenille asked.
“You’ve just held my hand and kissed my head in the space of ten seconds.”
Bachelor in Paradise fans echoed Osher’s criticism of the scene, with one user writing: “He was so creepy. I wouldn’t want to be his ex! He just stared at her in a vaguely intimidating way, as if willing to change her mind.”
Others wondered why Ivan’s fellow contestants didn’t call him out for his attitude towards Tenille, with one asking: “Why aren’t the guys talking to Ivan about is possessive and intimidating behaviour? We need men to participate in changing toxic behaviour, not tacitly encouraging it!”
One person bluntly said: “So apparently we need to go back to consent 101 with Ivan.”
And it seems it’s not just Ivan who has lost his head over stunning Tenille.
