The Grease star appeared on The Project on Thursday night and gave an update on her health.
Olivia was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. She then battled it for a second time in 2012, before being re-diagnosed again in September 2018.
Host Lisa Wilkinson asked the 71-year-old singer “on behalf of everyone in Australia” how she was.
“Fantastic, I’m fantastic,” a clearly thrilled Olivia said with a big smile on her face, pumping her fists in the air.
“I’m doing really well… Thank you for your love and support, I really appreciate it,” she told the audience.
She told the panel that she believes she is done with the disease.
“My last MRI, which is an exam where they look inside, things are shrinking and going away, or staying the same, and I’m living well with it and feeling great,” she said.
Olivia appeared on the show with her daughter Chloe Lattanzi who is currently appearing on Channel 10’s Dancing With the Stars.
The 34-year-old stunned fans as she made her dancing debut on Sunday night’s premiere, and her mum couldn’t have been more proud as she watched from the audience.
Chloe and her Italian dance partner Gustavo Viglio chose to foxtrot for their first dance and impressed judges Sharna Burgess, Tristan MacManus and Mandy Moore.
But there was no one more impressed with the performance than her famous mum, Olivia.
“Oh my goodness. I’m so proud. I’m so proud, my heart is beating so fast. I’m trying not to cry.
“You were so, beautiful, darling, you did such a wonderful job. It was just gorgeous. Beautiful,” Olivia gushed as she struggled to hold back the tears.
Seated beside her husband John Easterling, the Grease star looked incredibly emotional, and Chloe herself was struggling not to cry.
“Can I give her a hug?” she asked, before racing over and embracing her mother in the moving moment.
Judge Mandy, a famed Hollywood choreographer who’s worked with some of the best performers in the world, including Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone on La La Land and is filling in for Craig while he finished the Strictly Come Dancing Tour in the UK.
Commenting on Chloe’s dance she said “I loved your love story. It was excellent. I think it’s interesting when you talk about facing your fears. This takes so much courage to come out and do a show like this. My only wish for you is that you enjoy this process, you fall back in love with dancing and music and enjoying yourself and having confidence because you just set yourself up for success in that first dance. Excellent job.”
Judge Sharna was next to comment and said “I loved it from start to finish. You were so beautiful and graceful out there. There is so much potential in the way that you move. I want you in practice to not be afraid to fail.”
Mandy gave 5 points, Sharna 6 and Tristan 7.
Earlier in the day Chloe had taken to her Instagram to share how nervous she was feeling.
Just days prior to her premiere, Chloe’s mother Olivia shared a sweet message on Instagram, urging her followers to tune in and vote for Chloe during Sunday’s premiere.
“My daughter is a natural at this! Wow!,” the Aussie icon wrote, alongside a sweet photograph of Chloe in the studio rehearsing for her debut dance.
“Please vote for Chloe on Sunday. I will post how to vote on Sunday. I’m so excited,” she told fans.
