The Grease star bought the Dalwood country escape in 1981 for just $622,000 and has since expanded the luxury hideaway to 756 square meters across seven lots.

McGrath said the 70-year-old wanted it to be “a peaceful base that was completely private and true to who she is; the animal lover and the environmentalist.”

According to the Daily MailOlivia said the tranquil holiday home afforded her ‘total privacy,’ – a dream come true for the famous singer.

“The expansive view from the farm is breathtaking and captured my heart all those years ago,” she said.

Located just an hour away from Byron Bay – an area of Australia also enjoyed by actors Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon – the incredible property features a creek, two dams, a tennis court and a rainforest.

The home is made up of three bedrooms, a large open-plan kitchen and a guest suite.

The mother-of-one renovated the house in 2002, transforming it into a French-inspired country house.

However, it may not be goodbye forever, as Olivia still co-owns the luxury Gaia retreat in Byron Bay.

The “Physical” singer – who is married to natural health entrepreneur John Easterling – recently opened up about her battle with cancer.

“The thing I keep learning is gratitude and just to relax,” she told Closer magazine.

“Life is not to be rushed though. It’s to be savoured, and I’m really happy.”
