Despite all the challenges she’s faced over the years, Olivia Newton-John has always managed to keep a brave smile on her face
However, last week’s announcement of the death of former manager, Billy Sammeth – a legendary figure in the music business – has rocked the singing superstar. Billy, who also led the careers of Cher and Joan Rivers died in a New York hospital after suffering from pancreatic cancer.
Olivia was quick to pay tribute to the man who worked with her in the earliest years of her career.
‘My dear darling Billy left us today,’ she posted on Instagram, alongside recent and throwback pictures of the pair together.
‘I will always miss my funny friend,’ says the heartbroken star.
