Olivia Munn and Aaron Rogers have called it quits on their three year relationship.
Despite the actress and the Green Bay Packers quarterback sparking speculation of an engagement at the beginning of the year after Olivia was spotted flashing a diamond ring, sources say the pair have gone their separate ways.
‘They have amicably ended their relationship of three years,” an insider revealed to People.
‘They remain close friends and wish nothing but the best for each other moving forward.’
Despite the engagement whispers, Olivia and Aaron’s split may not come as such a shock to fans after the pair were said to be locked in a bitter feud involving Aaron’s family.
Sources are said to have stated that the sportsman’s family ‘didn’t trust’ the X-Men actress.
‘Aaron is the one that has pulled away from the family, not the reverse,’ a source spilled to US Weekly at the time.
‘When he got together with Olivia Munn, his family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family.’
However, there seem to be conflicting reports regarding the source of the family drama, with US Weekly reporting that ‘while Aaron says they don’t talk because his family doesn’t like Olivia,’ the ‘family says Aaron stopped talking to them.’
The Rodgers’ family drama was thrust into the spotlight by younger brother, Jordan, during his appearance on The Bachelorette last year.
Jordan opened up the issue by telling his now-fiancee, JoJo Fletcher, she wouldn’t meet his star brother during a hometown visit to Chico, California, on the show.
Then, when the visit took place, a scene was shot with the Rodgers family – Jordan, his parents – Ed and Darla, and his eldest brother, Luke – sat around the dinner table.
Two empty seats were left for Olivia and Aaron.
