Nicole Kidman jetted out of Sydney wearing dark glasses on Dec. 6 – and there’s no doubt she had an epic night, after scooping a coveted Best Supporting Actress award for her role on the film Boy Erased.

The actress attended the 2018 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards at the Star in Sydney a day earlier – where she posed on the red carpet alongside her niece, Lucia, and mum, Janelle.
Taking to the stage, the 51-year-old who is married to singer Keith Urban – paid tribute to the support her mother had shown her – as well as the tough love she’d given her.

‘She has loved me so much,’ Nicole said during her acceptance speech.
‘My mum has said a lot of things to me – pull your head in and get yourself up off the ground, Nicole, and get on with it… which is a great piece of advice,’ she added.
While Nicole graced the red carpet in a vibrant floral number at the awards’ night, she opted for a low-key look for her flight out of Australia.
Nicole paired her dark with a black leather jacket and black skinny trousers.

She carried a simple black bag and her trademark strawberry blonde hair was tied neatly in a low ponytail.
Nicole seemed in good spirits as she made her way through the airport – waving hello to the waiting media.
