It’s no secret that Nicole Kidman looks fabulous at the age of 50.
So when the Oscar-winning actress dishes out beauty advice, the world listens.
Speaking with Allure, the Hollywood heavyweight has revealed the one product she credits for her youthful appearance: Sunscreen.
“In the morning I smother, smother sunscreen on,” she confessed.
“I’m outside a lot and love exercising outdoors, but I don’t like the sun on my skin because it’s very fair.”
The Big Little Liars star explained that she first became “passionate” about using SPF as a child after fearing that sun spots would taint her porcelain skin.
“I didn’t want to get freckles,” she admitted.
“My parents have also had skin cancer, so I have to be really, really careful – I use SPF 100.”
“I use it on my kids. I use it on myself. I’ve always had to do that,” she added.
The mother-of-four’s diligent approach to skin care made her a shoe in for ambassador of US skincare brand Neutrogena.
But despite taking up the role back in January this year, the star has still maintained a low-key beauty regime.
“I tend to wear very light makeup,” she said.
“I’ll wear the lightest blush and a tiny bit of the Neutrogena lip balm.”
“I just really love to have healthy, moist skin.”
