Superstar Nicole Kidman has reflected candidly on the moment she fell in love with her now-husband Keith Urban.
“It was my [38th] birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York,” Nicole, 51, told People.
“That is when I went, ‘This is the man I hope I get to marry.’”
Keith went on to take Nicole to Woodstock – the site of the 1969 music festival – for a romantic getaway.
And the pair never looked back.
“It was pretty intense,” Nicole reflects.
“I believed by that point he was the love of my life. Maybe that’s because I am deeply romantic, or I’m an actress, or I have strong faith as well, but I just believed, ‘Oh, okay, here he is.’”
The match has proven to be for keeps – with Nicole openly sharing how Keith is her ‘biggest supporter’ and the pair’s marriage still going strong after 13 years.
