Nicole Kidman has reacted with some hilariously expressive looks when she was called “the woman who can’t cook” by celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis on Ellen on Tuesday.
As Nicole attempted to shape meatballs for the chef, De Laurentiis asked, “Nicole, have you ever made meatballs or anything?” implying that Nicole doesn’t cook at home.
Nicole was clearly having none of the jokes about her skill level in kitchen, and could be seen rolling her eyes and making faces behind De Laurentiis’ back when she turned around.
As De Laurentiis continued to make jokes about meatballs, Nicole retorted that Ellen is a family friendly show, no doubt her polite way of asking the celebrity chef to tone down on the ball jokes (or perhaps her way of throwing some shade back after the insults about her cooking!).
As the segment continued, Nicole got in another jibe at the chef when she said “it’s a little tough” in response to tasting the pizza De Laurentiis had prepared.
We’re guessing that Nicole doesn’t feel the need to be a top chef given she’s an Academy Award winning actress and all, but we’re certain she can probably knock together a few meals for her lovely family.
