The annual G’Day LA event in Hollywood honouring Aussies in film was held over the weekend. The star-studded event was nearly missed by one of our biggest success stories, when Nicole Kidman and rock star husband Keith Urban arrived at the last minute.
‘Here I am barefoot and ready to talk,’ Nicole joked.
Nicole and Catherine became close during their time working on Moulin Rouge.
‘You gave me a 24 inch waist,’ Nicole gushed. ‘You gave me boobs – big cleavage – something I had always wanted. You covered me in jewels.’
This year marks the 15th year for Australia’s premier public and economic diplomacy program in the US promoting Australian trade, tourism, film, food, wine and other business.
Other guests on the night included John Travolta, X Factor winner Isaiah Firebrace, Ben Mendelsohn, chef Curtis Stone and Foreign Minister Julie Bishop among others.
