Natalie Portman was all business on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, but sources say she’s “barely holding it together”. The actress, who is nominated for a Best Actress Globe for Jackie, arrived with an obstetrician in her entourage in case she goes into labor.
“Everyone’s on high alert,” says an insider of the fear running through her enterage. “Half of her team are hoping she doesn’t win in case it puts her into labor. That baby’s due any day now, so everyone’s trying to keep her calm.”
The source adds she’s feeling enormous on the red carpet and is not her usual sparkly self. “She’s having an ugly duckling moment, even though she looks incredible,” adds the insider. “She does find these things tough normally, but to be so close to birth has made tonight a real challenge.”
