Natalie Bassingthwaighte has confessed she’s been struggling to give her young family the love and attention they need following her stint in the jungle.
The busy I’m A Celeb star made the admission on Today Extra, where she was shceduled to discuss her new clothing line Chi Khi.
‘I’ve heard that you want to start prioritising your family, what made you say that?’ host David Campbell asked the mum-of-two.
‘I’ve always tried to do that balance thing of no phone, but it kinda gets washed over… sometimes you’re at their sports event and you’re kinda looking through your phone and answering an email.’ Nat replied.
She confessed: ‘I just thought to myself, “what am I doing?” This is not the parent I want to be.’
Natalie then admitted that she actively had to tell herself to put her phone in her bag so she could give her full attention her two children.
Vowing to fix the problem, she added: ‘I don’t want to pretend I’m watching, I want to be watching.’
Thankfully, Nat concluded that she’s improving by the day.
‘I’m getting there! I’ve been back a couple of weeks and I really feel I’m getting there – which is exciting.’
