Bizarre conspiracy theories grip the Internet

The internet has been buzzing ever since Janet Jackson posted a picture of herself with her baby boy Eissa – and while most fans are overjoyed, some have been outrageously speculating that the pop star isn’t the infant’s biological mother, according to a disturbing report today in US magazine Globe.

One anonymous fan cruelly blasted, “Who is she kidding?! That baby is white! There’s no way Janet is this baby’s mom.”

“C’mon folks, seriously?? That child is white. This substantiates the rumours that it was a faked pregnancy,” another fan railed.

The nasty and unsubstantiated speculation that Janet hasn’t been entirely truthful ignores the reality that mixed race children can have a variety of skin tones, including white.

Janet, who turns 51 on May 16, announced she was pulling out of her Unbreakable World Tour because she was planning on starting a family with billionaire businessman husband, Wissam Al Mana from the Arab state of Qatar.

It was a stunning statement considering Janet, who was 50 at the time, was way past the conventional childbearing age for the vast majority of women. While natural pregnancies at this age can and do occur, they are statistically quite rare.

Now wild Internet conspiracy theories outrageously claim that Janet and Wissam may have used a surrogate to carry his child, or used a donor egg, or even that they decided to “secretly adopt.” The estranged couple have yet to respond to the bizarre and unsubstantiated claims.

Janet recently announced that she was splitting from Wissam – with Globe’s sources saying he wanted a more traditional Muslim wife while she wanted her independence.
