She’s publicly battled postpartum depression since welcoming daughter Kaya in December 2014.
So when photos emerged this week of the recently rehabbed Nashville star looking pensive as she sat alone on a New York City stoop reading a book sans engagement ring, the rumour mill went into overdrive that her relationship with fiance and baby daddy Wladimir Klitschko was over.
Wasting no time, the 26-year-old took to social media to set the record straight once and for all.
Sharing a gorgeous black and white family photo of the couple with their only child, the actress and singer wrote: ‘Missing rings don’t mean the end of relationships. Blessed to be with my beautiful family.’
Hayden and her 40-year-old Ukrainian boxing champion beau first got together in 2009, before calling it quits two years later.
However, by early 2013 they had reconciled, and Wladimir proposed in October that same year.
After welcoming daughter Kaya the following December, Hayden admitted to struggling emotionally, and announced that she would be taking a leave of absence from her hit show to seek treatment.
In May this year, she revealed she was still dealing with her demons and was back in treatment.
‘The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life. Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life,’ she wrote on Twitter.
