Naomi Watts had a very public gift from her estranged partner Liev Schreiber on her 48th birthday, just days after the pair announced the end of their relationship.
Posting a childhood picture of herself to mark the day – a vintage black and white of a little Naomi in a stroller – the actress captioned it, ‘Another birthday!! #eek But I think I’m younger than this #vintage stroller??🙏 Not quite sure what’s happening here…’
One of the very first to respond was Liev, who wrote a simple but moving, ‘Happy Birthday Sweetheart’.
Not showing any overt signs of heartache, Naomi posted another happy image of herself enjoying sweets to mark the day, captioning it with the fun message, ‘Why eat one, when you can have them all?’
While the couple never married, they have been an item since 2005 – the same year (officially, anyway!) as Brad and Angelina. They have two kids, Alexander, 9, and Samuel, 7.
