Naomi Watts announced her sudden split from partner of 11 years, Liev Schreiber in September, and now the actress is finally speaking out.
Speaking to Stellar, newly single Naomi said that despite the ‘scary’ split, she is ‘in a good place’ right now.
‘I feel I’m in a good place in my life and I want to make sure my kids are healthy, my kids are happy and things are going to go well. Those are my hopes for me and for all of us,’ she revealed.
Naomi and Liev announced their relationship break-up in a joint statement, announcing their mutual agreement to part was ‘the best way forward’ for their family – the pair have two young sons, Sasha, nine and seven-year-old Samuel.
Since their break-up, Naomi and Liev have remained amicable, still regularly spending time together as a family, however in her latest interview, Naomi reveals her biggest concern right now is how to spend her first Christmas as a solo parent.
‘I’m still figuring out Christmas plans for this year.
‘I obviously want to get back to Australia, but I’m currently working on a TV show, Gypsy, and I’ve only got a limited amount of time off’.
