British pop star Rita Ora was allegedly targeted by Mel B and her now estrange husband, Stephen Belfonte, claims The Sun.
The tabloid claims Mel and Stephen invited the now 26-year-old back to their home after chatting at a Hollywood ‘networking’ dinner in 2014 – only for the popular singer to decline.
‘Rita was one of Mel and Stephen’s ‘targets’. When they asked her back to theirs, she was surprised,’ a source revealed to The Sun.
She was there purely for work reasons, anything else was out of the question.
‘So she made her excuses politely and went home.
‘She told friends she knocked them back and had tried her best to avoid being in their company from then onwards.’
It was revealed yesterday that Lorraine Gilles – the nanny at the centre of Mel and Stephen’s messy divorce debacle – has hot the former Spice Girl with a defamation suit after citing Mel’s claims that she had has an affair with Stephen and got pregnant with his child as ‘lies’.
Instead, it has been claimed that Mel ‘taught’ young and ‘naive’ Gilles about sex and became her lover for seven years.
