Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth have shunned their respective home countries as wedding venues – for a colourful hippie-themed ceremony in the Himalayan mountains.
According to US magazine Life & Style today, the couple, who rekindled their feisty romance early last year, are planning a “spiritual” ceremony in the northern summer in front of a small group of friends and family.
“Miley wants to focus on the spiritual side of marriage and is very interested in Hinduism,” a source told the magazine. “She is looking at location in Nepal, where Hinduism is a way of life.”
The current plan is for the wedding to take place over several days, with multiple events, including meditation, yoga, prayers, guitar playing and sleeping under the stars. “The wedding will be bright and colorful, with flower petals and brightly colored hearts and circles hanging from the trees,” adds the insider. “She wants to be surrounded by elephants, horses, peacocks and doves on her big day.”
