Miley Cyrus’ mum, Tish has laughed off claims that her daughter has already wed her longtime love and fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Speculation about the couple’s secret ceremony went into overdrive earlier this month after her country crooner husband Billy Ray Cyrus shared an Instagram of Miley wearing a white dress with the caption, “I’m so happy… you are happy.”
But Tish was quick to shut down the rumours, suggesting in an interview with Entertainment tonight that her invite must have been lost in the mail.
“I’m always the last to know,” she quipped.
The reality show host – who is set to face off with her 29-year-old daughter Brandi in a new home makeover show, Cyrus vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer – also joked that Miley would have opted for a far more fabulous wedding gown than the one in the shot if she had in fact walked down the aisle.
“If Miley was getting married, it would not be in that dress!”
But while she couldn’t say when Miley and Liam’s big day would be, she did reveal that she would be helping out behind the scenes to make it as special as possible when the time came.
“Whether I would have done the show or not, I would have always been working on [Miley’s] house or her wedding… or whatever it may be, for all my kids,” she said.
“My kids are everything to me, you know, so no matter what, I’m there.”
