Bachelor in Paradise star Michael Turnbull has slammed Bachelor star Alex Nation after she apparently leaked screenshots of their private messages from earlier this month.

In the messages, which were sent privately on Instagram, Michael asked Alex to get a coffee with him in front of cameras, to which Alex replied ‘Thanks for the offer but I will decline this one. Enjoy Melbourne and maybe I’ll see you around at some events and we can have a drink or something then.’

Talking to Daily Mail, Michael has slammed Alex for leaking the message exchange.

It’s disgusting Alex would send someone’s private messages to the media and make false claims to the media just to make a few dollars,’ he said. ‘At no point did I mention staged pap photos.’

‘I asked her for a photo shoot as it was for a photo shoot I needed for some branding, not for media. I think it’s very ironic she is the one who sent my screenshots to the media. That’s embarrassing for her,’ he added.

Alex has not yet responded to Michael’s retaliation.

This is not the first time Michael has been embroiled in controversy. In 2015, Michael was accused of wearing a fake Rolex.

He did not deny the claims and told A Current Affair at the time: ‘Regardless whether it’s fake or real, it was given to me by someone very special.’

‘It means so much to me,’ he said about the timepiece. ‘And I will continue to wear that Rolex for as long as I live.’

In 2016, he was forced to deny claims he worked for an alleged pyramid scheme after signing up as a representative for Nerium.

He was also once accused of exaggerating his professional soccer career.

Plus, earlier this year, Michael was accused of staging paparazzi pictures with Married At First Sight star Sarah Roza.
