Michael Schumacher miracle: Star ‘will come out from this very, very difficult situation’

Former Ferrari chairman reveals great news

There are new hopes that Formula One ace Michael Schumacher will recover from his horrific 2013 skiing accident, with former Ferrari chairman Luca Cordero di Montezelmo today indicating the star is now doing well, with great hopes for recovery.

While Montezelmo said in February that the driver’s health was ‘not good’, he this week offered a seemingly much more optimistic appraisal.

‘I’m very pleased to know that he is reacting,’ he told Ecumenical News of the star’s ongoing treatment. ‘I know how strong he is. I’m sure that thanks to his determination, which will be crucial, he will come out from this very, very difficult situation.’

Michael suffered severe head injuries in his December 2013 accident, and spent six months in an induced coma. While there have been few confirmed details on his condition since, reports from Germany have variously claimed that he was paralysed and confined to a wheelchair, and has been suffering from memory and speech issues.
