US First Lady Melania Trump is keeping a distance between herself and her husband, President Donald Trump, American publication Us Weekly is sensationally reporting today.
Melania, who’s currently 200 miles away from Washington D.C., living in NYC’s Trump Tower while the couple’s son, Barron, finishes up school, is said by the publication to prefer sleeping in separate bedrooms on the occasions when she and Donald are in the same city.
“They have separate bedrooms. They never spend the night together – ever,” a source is quoted as saying by Us Weekly. “Melania wants as little to do with Donald as possible. She is not interested in Donald, the presidency or anything involving him.”
Since the January 20 inauguration, Melania has done only a few official duties including escorting the Japanese prime minister’s wife, Akie Abe, around Palm Beach in February.
“The White House put a lot of pressure on her to do that,” says the source.
Melania is claimed to be unhappy over all the snubbing she’s gotten from designers and celebrities since her controversial husband took office..
“That entire world she used to enjoy is closed to her,” adds the source.
The only people that Melania likes to hang with are her parents, Viktor and Amalija, and her sister, Ines Knauss, and her son, Barron, 11.
The couple have yet to respond to Us Weekly‘s claims.
