“Well, you know what,” Mel B began, “You know me by now.

“My thing is, and I have a bee in my bonnet about it, it’s that we need to come to Australia first. We’ve done London, and now we need to come to Australia.

“So I announced it on stage, without everybody else signing off.”

Oh dear, Mel B!

It would seem that while Mel B is keen to bring their Spice Girls reunion tour to Australia after their UK tourMel C (Sporty Spice) Geri Horner (Ginger Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) hadn’t actually all agreed on the Australian leg of their world tour!

Explaining her rationale, Mel B told the radio hosts: “I figured if I put it out there then maybe it’s going to happen!”

While everyone seems highly amused with Mel’s boldness, host Ed Kavalee couldn’t help but wonder how her bandmates felt about the announcement: “Mel, was it the first time the other girls on stage had heard it? They looked a little surprised!”

“No!” Replied Melanie, “I’ve been talking about it forever!”

To end the interview, a hopeful Melanie Brown reiterated that while Aussie tour dates haven’t been penned into the diary, she believes the other girls will have a change of heart:

“They’re not on board fully…yet!”
