Meghan Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr was arrested late Thursday night after holding a gun to a woman’s head following a drunken, late-night argument.
The 50-year-old – who shares a father with Prince Harry’s girlfriend – was taken into custody in Grants Pass, Oregon and charged with menacing, pointing a firearm at another person, and unlawful use of a weapon, reports the Mail Online.
Bail was set at $US1,500 AND Thomas is said to have called his ex-wIfe Tracy Dooley to help him with the cash.
I don’t want this to be embarrassing for Meghan. Tom has had a little fame and publicity since Meghan started dating Prince Harry. He wants what’s best for her. He is so happy and proud for her,’ Tracy said, according to the website.
‘They used to be very close but there has been some separation over the years. The last thing he would want to do is to hurt her.’
