Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they were expecting a baby back in October, and since then speculation has been rife surrounding the gender of the royal bub.
Although no official statement has yet been made by Kensington Palace, royal punters are now convinced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are giving birth to a baby girl.
According to Express.co.uk Bookmakers Paddy Power have suspended all betting on the gender of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby after an unprecedented number of bets came through on it being a girl.
In the past, Paddy Power has suspended betting on other royal announcements such as Meghan and Harry’s engagement and pregnancy, after an insurgence of bets came through that clearly favoured a particular outcome.
According to Express.co.uk, the bookmaker has reported an “identical pattern of betting” which is leaving many convicned that Harry and Meghan will welcome a princess.
A Paddy Power spokesman said, “The flow of bets over the course of today has been almost as heavy as the general goodwill towards the couple – and we’re now convinced they’re having a girl.”
Just last week, Meghan Markle wowed onlookers while visiting one of her new charities, Smart Works, in a trench coat and tight black dress that showed off the pregnant Duchesses belly.
