Meghan Markle has announced she is shutting down her popular lifestyle blog The Tig.
In a letter addressed to fans on both the website and Instagram, the suits actress said it was time to move on.
‘After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun, and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being “the change you wish to see in the world.”’
Meghan signed off the surprise announcement with: ‘Above all, don’t ever forget your worth—as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough. Thank you for everything.’
The news will of course prompt further speculation about the actresses’ relationship with Prince Harry, who she has been dating for nearly a year.
Commentators have previously noted that the American has been far too open with her life for the liking of the notoriously private British royal family, so the closure of her website could indicate Meghan is ready to take her relationship to the next level.
It was recently reported that the actress mat be leaving Suits in order to move to London – and speculation of an engagement was heightened last month when the pair attended Harry’s friend’s wedding in the Caribbean together.
