Christmas has come early for Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge as they celebrate a historic royal event – they will both become queen in 2017!
Royal sources in both Copenhagen and Buckingham Palace confirm that after a year of solid royal duty, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Margrethe are planning for the much-loved royal mums to step up next year and take over the thrones.
It’s believed Mary, 44, and Kate, 34, – who now share a close friendship – have spoken to each other about their coronations, pledging to work together and support each other through their transitions.
