On Monday’s night’s finale episode of Married At First Sight former fiends Ines and Lizzie form a shock alliance over their ex lover Sam.
Sam who failed to make the reunion is discussed at length between the girls as footage from the experiment reveals how much the tradie lied to both the ladies.
Ines sits next to Lizzie on the couch and opens up her heart as she breaks down in tears and tells her how ‘devastating’ it was falling for Sam only to ghost her.
And when Mike tries to defend his ‘mate’ Sam against how Lizzie felt upset by his actions, Ines steps in and stands up for her.
“Are you hearing yourself now?!” Yells Ines.
“Elizabeth deserves closure. She has some kind of connection and relationship with this man!”
Elizabeth later reveals that she felt really ‘touched’ that Ines rushed to her defence and the pair bonded over Sam’s vile behaviour.
