On Sunday night’s episode of Married At First Sight, expert John goes head to head with Heidi after she reveals she find it hard to forgive Mike for going behind her back and speaking to Jessika.
“I just feel so angry and things just don’t add up and I can’t get over it….I adore him, but I am just so afraid…” admits Heidi during the commitment ceremony.
“I really want this to work…” she continues.
“Do you really?” questions John.
“Let me ask you if you had a best friend who has a great guy who she keeps pushing away because she’s got a pattern of overthinking things and hanging onto the past, what would you say?” insists John.
Heidi struggles to answer him but then says: “Start every day afresh.”
“That’s great advice, why don’t you take it?” interjects John.
It takes Heidi a while but in the end she agrees with John and when he asks if Mike wants to continue he chooses to stay.
“I thought we were over, but then I just decided… stay too” admits Heidi.
Aww… Heidi and Mike are together again!
